Boy did this bring back memories. I’ve only tried skiing once. I went with my brother. He left me on the bunny slope and disappeared…which was fine with me. I was falling down every couple minutes but I was having fun. Then he came back to ‘teach’ me…which consisted of him yelling at me till I cried (I was a teenager). I gave up by midday and spent the rest of the day in the car waiting to go home. Maybe, if I ever lose this weight I’ll try again.

I found your website and have read through your entire blog the last two days. You’re such an inspiration! I’m roughly the same size you were before surgery and am attending a weight loss surgery seminar next week in Boise. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate what you’re doing. I feel like I’m much more equipped to make this huge decision knowing how you’ve overcome your struggles and the many ways your life has changed for the better. I am awaiting on Cigna approval my paper wrk was foward to the nurse I was told on yesterday my paper wrk was faxed to Cigna on 4/29/2013 fingers crossed.. My surgeon office wonldnt fax anything until I completed EVERYTHING so that would less the chance for denial.. As soon as I hear I will post… Oh and I call Cigna EVERY DAY!! You have the right as a member!!!

Yep, I usually am wearing one or two pieces daily, top and bottom. I love the long leg shaper. I’m ready to go down a size…I’ve shrunk a little more since I bought them. Or I’ve stretched them out.

I’m more than a year and a half out from WLS, and my hair is back to normal. Although, my gray hair is wiry, but I think that is normal for gray hair. I don’t have a lot of it, so I’m not sure.

I have pretty thick hair, and it is also naturally wavy (gets curlier when it gets shorter). I was so happy that my hair has returned to normal.

Agreed. I know I have a lot of emotion tied to my hair–for many years it has been the only thing about my physical appearance I really loved. My husband had surgery (sleeve) about 6 months ago–and he is going through the emotions on this one too, so it isn’t just ties to long and lovely locks! I appreciate your blog!
